Are you experiencing a sold-out status for your event when it shouldn't be? Don't worry, there could be a few reasons behind it, but we'll help you figure it out.
Reason 1: Maximum capacity reached
There are two places in your dashboard where you can set the capacity, i.e., the number of tickets available for sale for your event:
Reason 2: Tickets reserved in carts
Sometimes, tickets may be added to a cart but not purchased. If the purchase isn't completed, the tickets will be released for sale after a certain period of time. Typically, cart reservations last for a maximum of 15 minutes (depending on the complexity of the ticket purchase).
To check the number of reserved tickets, follow these steps:
Reason 3: Ticket type not set for sale
You can check and change this by following these steps:
1. Log in to your dashboard.
2. Click on the event.
3. Click on "Edit event".
4. Scroll down to the ticket type in question.
5. Check if the "Ticket type is for sale" checkbox is selected.
Reason 4: End date for ticket sales reached
You can check and change this by following these steps:
Reason 5: No seats added to the seating plan
If you've enabled a seating plan for your event but haven't added any seats in the seating planner, your event will appear as sold out.
