Share your event

Share your event

You can choose to either share a link to your event or embed the ticket sales on your own website.

What you choose depends on the nature of your event, your target audience, and your specific ticket sales strategy.

Sharing the link via e.g. newsletters, social media, etc. is perfectly fine, but if you have your own website, we recommend you also embed your ticket sales as this helps provide a seamless user experience and maximises conversions for your existing website visitors.

Here's how you share your event:

  1. Log in to your Ticketbutler dashboard.
  2. Select the event you want to share.
  3. Click on "Share event" in the left menu.
  4. Choose the sharing style, i.e. single event, event list or calendar.
  5. For event list or calendar you can choose to share events from a particular team, tag (if enabled) or from your entire ticketing system. These features are only available for organisers with a Ticketbutler account, not on BilletFix where you can share only based on team.
  6. Copy the link to share it in e.g. your Facebook event, Instagram bio, on your website, or in an email campaign. Remember you can edit the link to a specific event by clicking on the pen icon.
  7. Copy the script to integrate on your website, such as Wix, Wordpress, Squarespace, and any other popular website tool.
