Send emails and/or text messages to your attendees

Do you have an important message for all your guests regarding your upcoming event?

Send an email or SMS directly to your guests through the Ticketbutler system!*

OBS, these features needs to be activated for your ticketing system to avoid platform abuse and sending out spam messages. Send us an email or call if they need to be activated for you.
*The features are not available on BilletFix. You need to create an account on Ticketbutler to have access to them.

 

Here's how to send an email to all your guests:

  1. Log in to your Ticketbutler account.
  2. Select your event.
  3. Click on "Attendee communication" on the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Click on "Emails" in the horizontal menu.
  5. Fill in the fields "Email subject" and "Email text". Note: Do not use this function for emails that could be considered spam, as the recipient's email provider may blacklist the sender's email and block all future emails.
  6. Consider sending yourself a test email before clicking "send".

At the bottom of the page, you can see your email history (reload the page if you don't see the latest email).

 

Here's how to send an SMS to all your guests:

  1. Log in to your Ticketbutler account.
  2. Select your event.
  3. Click on "Attendee communication" on the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Click on "SMS" in the horizontal menu.
  5. Fill in the fields "Sender name" and "SMS text". Note: Like with emails, this service should not be used for messages that could be considered spam.
  6. Press "send" and the SMS will be sent immediately.

The SMS service is useful if you have an urgent message that needs to be sent out and you want to ensure that all guests receive it quickly. This could be a last-minute cancellation, a change of location, or a long queue.

Each SMS costs DKK 1 per 160 characters.
