Sell additional products with your ticket

Sell additional products with your ticket

Create an "additional product" that allows your customers to upgrade their tickets. An additional product is also called an "add-on" or an "extra" - usually an extra product or service that you offer alongside your primary product (typically the admission ticket to your event).

An additional product can be anything from drink tickets and a dinner during the event to good deals on merch, books and other physical items. The sky's the limit!

How do I create an add-on product?

Create an additional product by following these steps:

  1. Click on your event
  2. Click on the "Additional products" tab
  3. Click on "+Add new product"
  4. Give the product a name and a cool description
  5. Add a price and a quantity
  6. Upload a picture and save!

How do I remove an additional product again?

  1. Click on the tab "Additional products" under the event in question
  2. Click "Edit" next to the add-on product
  3. Uncheck the "On sale" checkbox
  4. Click "Save".

What is the fee for an add-on product?

The fee for an additional product is less than the ticket fee at only DKK 2 + 2% per product sold (vs. the ticket fee of DKK 4 + 4%).

Why sell additional products?

There are many reasons why it is a good idea to offer additional products in your ticket buyers' purchase flow, including:

  • Your ticket buyers will experience relevant cross-selling as good customer service.
    You simply sell more!
  • By selling products such as merch your event, your ticket buyers will bring home a nice memory and you'll also stay top of mind. Add a logo to your merch for additional branding value.

However, always make sure that your upsell is relevant to your primary product and your customer.
