Is my ticket revenue safeguarded?

Short answer; YES!

We prioritise the safety and security of your hard-earned money above all else.

Did you opt for Ticketbutler's standard payment solution during the signup process instead of Stripe, which offers ongoing payouts of your ticket revenue prior to your event? If yes, rest assured that your ticket revenue will be automatically transferred to you once your event is complete.

Up until the payout date, all your ticket revenue is securely held in a separate "client account." Please be assured that these funds are strictly reserved for your use and are not used for Ticketbutler's operations. We adhere to strict regulations that prevent us from accessing or profiting from the money in those accounts. No interest earnings or unethical practices here!

In the unlikely event that Ticketbutler encounters financial difficulties (knock on wood), your ticket revenue is fully protected. Those client accounts are completely independent and will not be affected by any bankruptcy proceedings. 

 

Additional financial security measures

Speaking of security, we've implemented additional measures to ensure your peace of mind. All client accounts are backed by comprehensive insurance coverage. This means that even in the highly improbable event of e.g. a hacker attack (knock on wood again), you can relax knowing that your funds are fully safeguarded.

 

Ongoing payouts through Stripe

If you prefer to have the funds directly deposited into your personal account, we offer a convenient solution. Simply select Stripe as your payment solution during the signup process, as mentioned earlier.

If you're already using Ticketbutler with the standard payment option, no worries! Just create a new account, follow the steps, and you'll be good to go. Read more in this guide.
