Create a sense of urgency with the tag "Few tickets left"

Create a sense of urgency among potential ticket buyers by activating a feature that displays either the remaining ticket count or simply the tag "Few tickets left".

Here's how to activate the feature:

  1. Log in to your Ticketbutler dashboard.
  2. Click on the specific event you want to set up.
  3. Go to "Ticket settings and discounts".
  4. Check the box for "When there are a few tickets left of a specific ticket type, show exact amount left or a tag on both event page and in iframe".
  5. Then, choose whether you prefer to display the exact number or just the tag "Few tickets left."
  6. Click "Save."

Why activate this feature?

Creating a sense of urgency or scarcity can have several benefits for your ticket sales:

  • Increased demand: When potential attendees see that there are limited tickets left, they will feel motivated to act quickly to secure their spot at your event.

  • Highlighting popularity: A small remaining ticket quantity can indicate (or create the illusion of) high demand for the event. This can attract more participants who want to be part of something exclusive.

  • Increased ticket sales: By adding a sense of urgency, you encourage potential attendees to buy tickets faster. The sooner your ticket buyers purchase tickets, the more likely they will tell their friends and invite others to join. If you're receiving ongoing payout through Stripe, pushing ticket sales forward can also benefit you financially, allowing you to invest more in marketing or pay your subcontractors, for example.

  • Creating engagement: By making your ticket buyers feel like time is limited, you can also increase engagement around your event. Participants may discuss it on social media, leading to organic marketing effects.
