So, what is Zapier?

Zapier is a separate system and one of the most significant integration tools on the market right now. Simply put, Zapier allows you to integrate over 3,000 apps with each other, thereby automating the flow between the various digital tools you use.

And the best part? Ticketbutler is one of those apps, which means you can integrate your ticketing system with a whole bunch of other systems.

The logic behind it is simple: the app allows you to create what we call "zaps." A zap is a kind of digital chain reaction where an event or action (a 'trigger') automatically activates another action ('action'), for example:

• Every time you receive a new order: send an email to your inbox.
• Every time you receive a new order: send information about the ticket buyer to your CRM system, like Hubspot or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• If you want to transfer your event calendar to Wordpress.

Step-by-step guide to activate Zapier

Get started by hopping onto this link. Follow the instructions, and you'll be ready to start creating zaps in no time!

Create your first zap

• Log into your Zapier account and click on "Create Zap."
• Search for and select "Ticketbutler."
• Choose an event - for example, "Purchase completed."
• Click "continue."
• Log into your Ticketbutler account.
• Then choose the "action," the action your trigger should activate - for example, sending an email to you as the organiser.
• Choose the app you want to integrate with Ticketbutler using the search function.
• Log into the respective app and fill in all the required fields.
• Click "continue."
• If your app is set up correctly, you will now see a brief summary of it.
• To activate your zap, simply click on the small On and Off button in the top right corner. You can also name your zap so you can find it more easily in the future.
